To apply for the STAR Program all you have to do
is fill out an application and
mail, fax or email it, along with a copy of their Choctaw Nation of
Oklahoma membership card. You can also fill out an application
online by clicking here. The program application does not have
to be renewed each year. Send in a new application only if there
has been a change in address or school. A student can earn up to $50.00 per
semester. This continues from 2nd grade through 12th. Students are awarded twice per school year. Once for the Fall semester and once for the Spring semester.
I attend a school with trimesters instead of semesters. Do I send in a report card at the end of each trimester? For schools that grade on a trimester basis, we count the first trimester for the Fall award and average the second and third trimesters for the Spring award. How do I get an award? To receive your incentive all you have to do is
send in a copy of your report card and the Grade Verification
Form. To find out about other programs please visit
